Tenerife sandy beach: Playa La Caleta
Southwest Tenerife: about 7 km from Finca Constanza
Also called Playa de la Enramada the beach is a mixture of black sand,
pebbles and rocks. One of the photos shows how it was before 2010 with
a bar-restaurant, sunbeds and umbrellas before it was declared illegal
and closed down by the authorities. The other photos show how it is today.
The community wants to redevelop it but nature conservationists want to
leave it in its original state. We will update on developments.
Connected to the beach is the start of the promenade which leads to
Playa del Duque.
