Tenerife sandy beach: Playa El Puertito
Southwest Tenerife: about 3.8 km from Finca Constanza
El Puertito means "small harbour" and is a small beach in a little fishing village. It is a nice walk to the beach which has grey-black lava sand and is suitable for sunbathing. It is much used by the locals in the school holidays. It is a rustic natural beach and there are boat trips for fishing, diving and swimming. The bay is enclosed by rocks and there is a bar for snacks and refreshments.
