Tenerife sandy beach: Playa Abama
Southwest Tenerife: about 7.8 km from Finca Constanza
The beach actually belongs to the Hotel Abama and this is why it has light golden sand. It is enclosed on both sides by steep cliffs. There is a lovely terrace for drinks, icecreams and light meals and it is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and a shower. You can drive directly there but you must leave the car in the hotel car park and walk down the path to the beach. There is also a hotel lift to the beach but this is reserved for hotel guests and in any case the walk to the beach has lovely views of the bay and the sea.
